BETA READING

This can be scary. You've written a story, but you need a fresh pair of eyes to tell you what's good and what needs fixing.
​
I'm not here to tear your story apart, but I give honest feedback. I highlight the weak points and if you need help, I can provide ideas of how to make them better. A story is like a "Choose Your Own Adventure" game: as you create it, you can choose different paths for your characters and the story itself. As this stage of writing, you can always go back and change something.
​
I will also show you where your strengths lie. This is helpful for writers because it lets them realize their writing style, so they can use it to their advantage and develop it.
​
When you email me about beta reading your story, please provide me with questions you want me to answer after reading or a list of areas you would like me to pay special attention to, such as continuity, character development, etc.

Editing
​
There are times where you've hit the wall in your writing and can't figure out where your work needs improving. That's where I come in to provide one or several of the following stages of editing:

Developmental: Identification of the areas that need to be developed or removed while looking at the overall story.

Copyediting: Assessment of grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency, syntax, format and some restructuring, depending on the level of edit you need.

Substantive Editing: Assessment of structure, style, flow, accuracy, clarity, logic and plot development.
​

Proofreading: Final assessment of the work for accuracy and consistency.
Ghostwriting
Not everyone wants to write a book, but they have a story they want to share with world. I can help you to make your story come alive.

But this is a collaborative effort. A ghostwriting project of a fictional work requires:
